St. Pancras, a patron of children and called upon
to ward off cramps and headaches
There isn't much that I remember, then and now. But, one of my earliest memories would be of this saint. It has been with my family for the longest time. It followed us when my family migrated to California, and back to the Philippines when my parents returned years later.
Slightly weathered and wrinkled
Today I found out, that my mother was born during the feast of St. Pancras (also known as St. Pancratius). To celebrate her birth, my grandmother purchased the above statue of St. Pancras. I can't believe that he, along with my mom, is 70 years old! They both have aged very well.

I remember this from decades ago. It still looks like its in great condition. But why has no one fixed her halo? I fixed mine. :-)
