Anime figures come to life
I ventured to Japantown last weekend to see the cherry blossoms. It was after all, the day before the much hyped Cherry Blossom Festival. Imagine my surprise when I only found a few skimpy trees. Sadly, I don't have any interesting pictures to share.
The highlight of the trip was a shopping spree at Ichiban Kan, a Japanese dollar store, where I bought all sorts of goodies from cute little candies to notebooks and baskets.
